Privacy Policy

Method Made ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you deploy and use the Method Made Managed Application on Microsoft Azure.

1. Architecture and Data Residency

Method Made is an Azure Managed Application. This means:

  • Your Data Stays With You: All resources (Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults) are deployed directly into your Azure subscription.

  • No External Transfer: We do not transfer your data to our own external servers. All processing occurs within the Azure region you select during deployment.

2. Access to Information

While we do not centrally "collect" or store your data on our own infrastructure, the Managed Application model grants us temporary management access to the specific Resource Group where the application is installed in your Azure subscription.

This access allows us to view the following data solely for the purpose of troubleshooting and support:

A. Configuration Data

  • Identity Credentials: We may view configuration parameters (such as Tenant IDs and Client IDs) stored in the application's Key Vault to ensure the application can authenticate correctly.

  • Resource Names: We can view the names of resources (VMs, Storage Accounts) to assist with deployment issues.

B. Telemetry and Logs

  • Application Insights: We have access to performance metrics, error logs, and failure traces generated by the application. These logs are stored in your subscription but are visible to our support team to help diagnose bugs.

C. Customer Content

  • Storage Access: We technically possess permission to view the Azure Storage Account used by the application. However, strictly as a matter of policy, we do not access, download, or view user-generated content (such as video files or transcripts) unless explicitly authorized by you for a specific support ticket.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use our management access strictly for:

  • Deployment Validation: Ensuring the application installs correctly in your environment.

  • Support: diagnosing error logs when you contact us for help.

  • Maintenance: Applying critical updates or patches to the application resources.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Data Privacy

This application utilizes Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Services.

  • No Model Training: Your customer content (videos, transcripts, SOPs) is not used by Microsoft or Method Made to train, retrain, or improve foundational AI models.

  • Processing Only: Data is sent to the AI service endpoints solely for the purpose of generating your specific results and is not retained by the AI processors.

5. Data Retention

  • You Control Retention: Since data is stored in your Azure subscription, you control how long it is kept. You may delete the application and all associated data at any time via the Azure Portal.
